Treatment of cervical osteochondrosis with folk remedies and medicines

Cervical osteochondrosis is the most common type of osteochondrosis. In this disease of the cervical vertebrae, bone tissue overgrows, which leads to compression of the spinal cord in the cervical spine. Such compression leads to malnutrition of the spinal tissue. Such osteochondrosis occurs in people who keep the cervical spine under tension most of the time.

Treatment of this osteochondrosis with folk remedies or drugs should be done from the early stages of this disease.

And in order to determine the presence of cervical osteochondrosis, it is necessary to be well known about the symptoms of this type of osteochondrosis in order to begin timely treatment for this disease.

Compresses are widely used in the treatment of osteochondrosis with folk remedies.

Then remove the compress and wrap the neck with a scarf.

Exercises to treat osteochondrosis

Exercise for cervical osteochondrosis

The exercises listed below are effective in treating osteochondrosis. These exercises are aimed at restoring muscle tone in the cervical spine, and these exercises help improve blood circulation in the neck.

  1. With your hands in the lock, press the front part of the head. At this point, press your head against your hands as if resisting. Hold the pressure for 5 seconds. Repeat the exercise 5 to 10 times.
  2. The next exercise is similar to the first. It is only necessary to press your hands not on the forehead, but successively on the left and right ears.
  3. The exercise aims to relax the muscles in the neck. This exercise can be done, for example, if you work at the computer for a long time. Relax your neck muscles and lower your head against your chest. Try to feel how heavy your head is. Back to the starting position. Repeat 5-10 times.
  4. This exercise is similar to the previous one. Lower your head onto your chest, relax your muscles, and roll your head from your lower shoulder to the other. The exercise is done slowly.
  5. Straighten your neck with your head straight. Turn your head to the right and try to reach your right shoulder. Then turn your head to the left to reach your left shoulder. This exercise stretches the muscles in the neck.

All methods of treating cervical osteochondrosis should preferably be used in combination.

But! Before starting treatment for cervical osteochondrosis, make sure that you have this specific disease, do a full exam, and get the opinion of a doctor.

Diet against osteochondrosis

In the end, I would like to point out that in the treatment of cervical osteochondrosis, it is necessary to follow a diet.

It is better to eat more often and in smaller portions.

The diet should contain as little salt as possible, less liquid, spicy and too salty foods, strong tea or coffee.

You need to exclude baked goods, as well as sweets and carbonated drinks, from your diet.

Don't eat mayonnaise. Do not include canned food in your diet. These products only clog the blood, but there is no benefit.

Your diet should include the following foods:

  1. Milk, cottage cheese, hard cheese, rye bread (i. e. calcium).
  2. Whole grains, fruits, vegetables, green onions (i. e. manganese and vitamins A, B and C).
  3. Meat, seafood, nuts including seeds, liver (i. e. copper and vitamins B and D).
  4. Eggs, fish and already labeled meat and milk (i. e. phosphorus).

The diet is not complicated! We wish you good health and a successful treatment for cervical osteochondrosis.
